Allambee Camp is situated in the West Gippsland Region, an easy 75-minute drive (130 km) from Melbourne's CBD. The camp is located atop the picturesque Strzelecki Ranges, a truly unique and peaceful location with breathtaking views. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city visitors can not only enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the camp and its surroundings but also engage in challenging outdoor adventure activities. Allambee Camp is set on eight acres and visitors have access to 40 acres of forest to explore as well as nearby Mount Worth State Park.

Allambee Camp is accredited under the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program incorporating the Camp and Outdoor Activity Provider module. The business is family owned & operated and a quality, affordable and friendly service is assured at all times.

The venue has an overall capacity to sleep 100 guests in three centrally located accommodation areas. All three lodges have comfortable, carpeted, heated rooms and bathrooms under the same roof. The main lodge offers a multipurpose room with projector, big screen, TV, DVD/CD, sound system and whiteboards, ideal for group activities at the end of the day, workshops or presentations.

Allambee Camp gives you plenty of choice for outdoor adventure activities within safe boundaries. All activities are close by and easily accessible. The activities include abseiling, archery, billy carts, bush walking, camp out in tents, flying fox, giant swing, high ropes, initiative course, low level ropes course, raft building, swimming and many more. Night activities include camp fire, reflector trail and night walks. A large recreation building can be used for ball games, table tennis and other activities.

The outdoor adventure activity programs are tailored to suit the requirements of the groups and achieve outcomes based on AusVELS. Customers receive full support throughout the planning stage and qualified outdoor recreation staff will facilitate the specialised activities throughout the program

Groups can either choose a fully catered camp or take up the option of self-catering. Fully catered groups enjoy three home-cooked main meals as well as in between meals. Special dietary requirements can be met with prior notice. Tea/coffee making facilities are available 24 hours. Self-catered groups have access to a fully equipped kitchen. The eating area includes a dining room as well as a spacious outdoor dining area. The dining room can also be used as a second meeting room outside meal times.

The camp mainly hosts and caters for primary and secondary school groups, staff retreats, youth groups, church groups, family and community groups as well as social and sporting clubs.

The SOLE USE of the camp is guaranteed.
