Splash is collecting Being Me hands to promote mental health

Event by ABC Splash

Splash is asking primary children across Australia to think about the question: What do you feel are the most important things about being you? Children can then draw on their hand, or a picture or photocopy of it, and write on the design that adjectives that make them special. Then they take a photo and send it in. We'll publish it alongside these great entries at Splash: http://splash.abc.net.au/ugc-competition/-/u/1393588/being-me

Date August 5, 2014 - October 17, 2014
Time 9:00am - 5:00pm

Why did we choose Being Me?:

Sometimes we find it hard to think of kind words or positive things to say about ourselves, but we would really like you to inspire us and inspire others with what is amazing about you. Imagine you are talking to your friend or, if you are in high school, then a younger version of you who is just starting out in life. We want you to share with others why it is important for you to be you!

You want to give others heaps of confidence about who they are so focus on the positive things rather than things you don't like about yourself.

Remember YOU are your work of art - enjoy!
