Take on the TechNo Challenge

This September your students can Power Off to EmPower women in developing countries. Students register for free and then ask friends and family to sponsor them to go without their chosen technology for 12, 24 or 48 hours.

Date September 1, 2015 - September 30, 2015
Time 9:45am - 9:45am

The TechNo Challenge is over for 2015, but it's not too early to put this wonderful social justice project in the calendar for next year!

Are you reading this webpage from a computer, phone, or tablet? When was the last time you switched off your favourite device for longer than a good night’s sleep?

Next September you and your students can Power Off to EmPower women in developing countries.

Regsister for free and get your friends and family to sponsor you to go without your chosen technology for 12, 24 or 48 hours.

The money raised by turning off provides women in developing countries the chance to get screened for cervical cancer. Despite being mostly preventable, 800 women die from cervical cancer worldwide every single day. That’s one woman every two minutes. It costs ACCF just $5 to screen one woman for cervical cancer in a developing country.

Every $5 raised saves a life.
