How to make evidence-based decisions about treatments for poor readers

The goal of this workshop is to equip people with the knowledge and practical skill needed to make evidence-based decisions about reading interventions. This workshop comprises three parts: Part 1 outlines a step-by-step guide on how to make evidencebased decisions about interventions for poor readers (or, indeed, interventions for any condition). Part 2 will illustrate this step-by-step process by assessing the evidence for numerous popular commercial products that are advertised as effective treatments for poor reading. In Part 3, attendees will practice using the step-by-step process to assess evidence for and against interventions of their choice.
