    Two Vic kids escape abduction

MELBOURNE, May 13 - Two children escaped possible abduction by a man who attempted to snatch them from a Victorian primary school, police say. A seven-year-old boy was leaving a toilet block when approached by the man who grabbed his arm and tried to lure him away last Thursday. The boy broke free and ran to alert others. Later that day the same man approached a five-year-old girl at the Daylesford school, about 115km north west of Melbourne, and attempted to convince her to leave with him. Detectives from the Ballarat Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team say the man is Caucasian in appearance and aged in his late 40s with a medium build. He was wearing ripped jeans, a blue t-shirt and a red hat. AAP
