The Association of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages of the Northern Territory (ATESOLNT)

Professional development / Last updated 11 months, 1 week ago

ATESOLNT is a professional non-profit association. Our charter is to support educators working in a wide variety of education contexts with students who come to their learning already fluent in other languages, and now learning in and through English in formal settings.

ATESOLNT advocates for the learning needs of multilingual learners – a diverse group in the Northern Territory, raising awareness of, and building the capacity for, expert EAL/D teaching and learning for high quality English language learning outcomes.

ATESOLNT membership is open to educators working in universities, schools (primary and secondary), adult education and adult migrant courses. Members can access our face-to-face or on-line professional learning events and our website or Facebook sites to join a discussion forum, or read the latest research on English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) education.

Please visit atesolnt.org.au for further details regarding our association.
