Over a three week period, ABC Splash is partnering with the Centre for Youth Literature to let you chat LIVE with some of Australia’s best children’s authors! It was a pleasure having Morris Gleitzman kick off week 1 and Rebecca Lim on week 2. Sally Rippin concludes our 3 week series, meet the bestselling author on ABC Splash and ask her a question. ‘Meet the Author’ live stream series concludes with Sally Rippin, bestselling writer and illustrator who creates books for children of all ages.

Sally has over 50 books published, including her Billie B Brown detective series and YA novel Angel Creek, which was shortlisted for the 2012 NSW Premier's Awards.

This is your opportunity to ask Sally a question. Where does she gets her ideas, how does she create a story or anything you’d like to know about her novels, characters or creative mind.

Send your questions through now! Five winning questions will be asked LIVE during the conversation. Just follow these steps:

3.  Enter your display name (not your real name), then click 'Comment Now'

4.  Write your question in the bigger white box at the top

Questions will be asked by Anna Burkey, who is the manager of Reader Development and the Centre for Youth Literature (CYL) at the State Library of Victoria. CYL helps connect Australian teenagers with books, stories, writing… and each other.
