Leading education: Challenges and directions for 2017

This workshop will include presentations from UNSW academics and representatives from the major school systems on the challenges and directions for educational leadership in 2017. Significantly, following the initial presentations, the presenters will engage in a dialogue and debate of the issues with each other – facilitated by Professor Colin Evers – and then audience members. The afternoon session will be dedicated to thinking through strategies for schools and individuals in negotiating the challenges and being an active part of shaping future directions.

Completing this workshops will contribute to 6 hours per workshop of QTC Registered PD addressing Standards 7.4.4 and 6.3.4 towards Lead Teacher Accreditation in NSW. Proficient and Highly Accomplished teachers are welcome to attend this course, and will receive validation for the course inclusive of QTC Registered professional development hours and Standard Descriptors
