Business Educators Australian Capital Territory Inc (BEACT) and VCTA are hosting the 2018 BEA national conference 'The Capital Connection: a journey of discovery' for Accounting, Business, Economics, Legal, and Civics and Citizenship educators. The conference takes place in Canberra from 3-5 October 2018.
With over 30 presentations and workshops, there will be many opportunities to learn new classroom strategies, hear from expert speakers, update your knowledge and skills in business education, visit unique Canberra institutions, and network with colleagues.
Hear from inspirational educational, business and government leaders including keynote speakers Emeritus Professor Rosalind Croucher AM, President of the Australian Human Rights Commission and Dr Alex Heath, Head of the Economics Analysis Department at Reserve Bank of Australia. Other highlights of the program include a masterclass conducted by ANU and tailored curriculum visits to Parliament House, High Court of Australia, Museum of Australian Democracy, National Film and Sound Archive and the National Museum of Australia.
