The theme for the 2019 SASTA Annual Conference is 'Thinking Science' and the program includes 2 Keynote Presentations, 6 Cutting Edge Presentations and approximately 50 workshop session options available for primary, middle, senior secondary teachers and laboratory officers.
The program also includes a 'Panel of Dangerous Ideas', where each speaker will have the opportunity to present a thought provoking idea followed by questions from the audience.
Following on from the Panel we will be presenting the Helen Castle Memorial Scholarship and Credit Union SA / SASTA Outstanding Contribution to the Teaching of Science Awards, including celebratory drinks and canapes as we honour these achievements and continue the provoking discussions from the Panel of Dangerous Ideas with the panel members who will be staying around for the celebration!
