    About this job

    As the Senior Consultant, Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Performance and Improvement you will:

    • Support the continual improvement of HSW capability across the department by developing and delivering systems and specific training programs to enhance HSW knowledge, skill and awareness.
    • Develop and lead strategies to promote HSW across the department including development of associated communication strategies, products and tools.

    The Senior Consultant, HSW Performance and Improvement reports to the Team Leader, Systems and Strategy, Organisational Safety and Wellbeing.

    This role requires you to:

    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of policy content, procedures and associated templates and tools addressing HSW performance and improvement.
    • Support the continual improvement of HSW capability across the department by developing and delivering systems and specific training programs to enhance HSW knowledge, skill and awareness.
    • Conduct proactive analysis of WHS data (including WorkCover), to provide trend analysis and identification of emerging risks and lessons.
    • Maintain the effectiveness of workplace incident reporting systems and processes and the department's safety performance reporting framework through the continual development of targeted HSW performance metrics.
    • Collaborate with internal and external data system owners to ensure data sources are efficient and satisfy HSW information requirements.
    • Lead project initiatives, as required, to support continuous improvement of the departments HSW systems and procedures.
    • Support the OSW team in the development and application of HSW communications, promotion strategy and report writing.
