    Mountain Creek State High School is situated approximately 69 kilometres north of Brisbane on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Currently, enrollments sit at over 2100 students from Year 7 to Year 12. We are one of the most highly regarded schools on the Sunshine Coast and have an excellent reputation for outstanding achievements in academic, cultural, leadership, community and sporting programs.

    Our school offers a range of programs which provide multiple pathways for the full range of students enrolled. These programs include a focus on Science, Health Science and Engineering, Zenith, Young Scholars and Young Achievers' programs in the middle school, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP)​ in the senior school, and a wide variety of sporting development programs including Volleyball, Basketball, Rugby League and AFL. We teach two languages Japanese and Spanish in both the QCAA curriculum and the IBDP however other languages are supported through the School of Distance Education.

    About the Role

    As the Head of Department - Student Services, you will require flexibility in the leadership and management of a number of alternate programs across both the junior and secondary curriculums. You will work collaboratively with other Head of Departments to maximise results for students, teachers and stakeholders. 

    As a school leader you play a vital role in shaping the way we deliver education services to ensure students have the skills, knowledge and creativity to succeed in the global economy.
