Charter school applies for status change

A charter school has applied for a status change to a school of designated character, which would allow it to stay open under the government's education policy.

WELLINGTON, March 26 - Education Minister Chris Hipkins says the application from Vanguard School is "a good first step" and he's welcoming it.
