The challenge is designed by Scientists from The University of Sydney and is suitable for students from Stages 2-5 and will allow them to see wildlife through the eyes of a scientist.

Students will work in teams of up to 5 classmates to complete fun and interactive conservation based challenges designed around Taronga’s legacy species.

The challenges are designed to help educate students about the range of threats facing these species as well as the conservation strategies in place to ensure a future for these animals.

Taronga’s legacy species include five native Australian and five Sumatran species that are on the brink of extinction. Taronga has made a long-term commitment to conserving these species.

Teams that complete the challenge will be in the running to win tickets to Wild Ropes.
