The Morrison Government’s Community Child Care Fund is now providing $110 million in financial support for more than 700 childcare services, according to the Education Department.
"The Morrison Government is supporting parents to access child care through our reforms to the Child Care Subsidy," Tehan said.
"Out-of-pocket child care costs for families are down by more than 10 per cent since our government’s Child Care Subsidy was introduced on 2 July 2018.
"Our government is also supporting child care providers to keep their doors open and take more children through our Community Child Care Fund.
"We are helping to give vulnerable children a head start in their education and a stronger start in life.
"Being able to access early education and child care services also enables parents and carers to increase their engagement in the workforce, study or volunteer in their local communities."
