Recently, an ambitious $1.6 billion reform blueprint produced by The Grattan Institute intends to lift the status of our entire teaching workforce.

It calls for radical pay hikes to reward expertise, via the creation of new specialist roles: the Instructional Specialist ($140,000 per year) and the Master Teacher ($180,000 per year).

However, not everyone is backing this ‘blueprint’ idea.

So, whether you're in the 'yes', the 'no' or the 'maybe' camp, signal your views in our instant, single-step survey and join the conversation!

Results will be be published in the November issue of Australian Teacher Magazine, out in schools soon.
