Exclusively for school groups! City CYC is fully dedicated to schools midweek during school term and is not available for backpackers or other tourists.
It’s safe! Entry to your group’s accommodation and lounge area is by personal swipe card only, with security cameras throughout.
Your own private areas! Each group enjoys use and access to their own area, which includes separate ensuited bedrooms, a lounge/function room, and audio visual equipment and beverage facilities. These areas are designed and equipped to work as either a meeting point, classroom or social area.

Programs & programming to suit your needs! You have the flexibility of organising your own program, or City CYC can provide comprehensive resources and/or program co-ordinators to assist you. We can help you design programs that meet the educational needs and requirements of students of all year levels, with a close focus on Vic VELS and the specific curriculum needs of your school. Programs can also be designed around the areas of students' studies, community awareness, careers, personal development, fun and recreation, or simply just becoming comfortable and familiar with our city. City CYC programs provide students with the opportunity and freedom to learn outside the classroom, become more confident and independent within themselves, their peer groups and in the city environment.
