About the Role:

St Columban's College is seeking a Groundsperson with a genuine passion for their work to deliver a range of services for the upkeep, maintenance and development our school grounds.

Duties include:

  • Minor landscaping work; Maintaining clean and tidy school grounds
  • Routine trade and non-trade maintenance and repairs
  • Providing feedback into planning, preparing and development of school grounds
  • Liaising with onsite contractors
  • Inventory management for grounds supplies and materials
  • Support school security systems
  • Liaise with various internal and external personnel on issues of lost property and damage to facilities
  • Assist with setting up significant school events
  • Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

You will have previous experience in a groundskeeping role, ideally in a school environment and display strong customer service skills. You will also have a good work ethic and seek to achieve quality work whilst maintaining the highest level of safety.
