About our school: St Francis Xavier is a Catholic, co-educational P-6 school of approximately 500 students situated in the City of Ipswich, adjacent to the Ipswich Motorway. The school has been in existence for more than 100 years, having been established in 1910.

About the role:
The School Officer role will be working across Year 2 and Year 6 within literacy block time.  The school officer will assist students with literacy tasks and lead small group reading intervention programs. On Friday the school officer will be working in the Prep classroom as a Prep Aide.


To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
