“Lots of space for all your outdoor adventurous activities. All the sites are clearly marked with signs, and the grounds and activity spaces are fantastic. Overall a fantastic place to have a camp or host a large event!”

In 1978, Cataract Activity Centre was given to the Scout Association of Australia NSW Branch by The Government of New South Wales. The Minister for Lands, The Hon. Bill Crabtree, declared 103 hectares of Wedderburn State Forest to be a reserve for Scouts for a permanent Jamboree site. Additions in 1985 increased the total area to 160 hectares.

Our accommodation spaces hold up to 252 people, and up to 1,000 people can camp in each of our campsites.

Cataract Activity Centre offers tailored activity programs, available as both day and overnight packages, with access to a variety of adventurous activities such as archery, orienteering, challenge valley. bush walking, abseiling, rock climbing and a giant swing amongst so many more!

We are proud to have many qualified and experienced staff to lead you safely in your activities. Our team are the lifeblood of our Park and love to share their passion for adventure.

We're passionate about providing unique experiences. Outdoor adventure is what we do best! The activities at Cataract will awaken any adventurous soul. Challenge yourself to an epic obstacle course, slip 40 metres down the water slide and reach the treetops on a Giant Swing - and so much more.
