Quaama Public School, the “Small School with a Big Heart”, is located 31km north of Bega and 34km west of Bermagui by road in the Bega Valley Shire.

Expected student enrolment for 2020 is 58, of which twelve percent are from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background.

The school is strongly supported by its community. The P&C is most positive and productive, providing many opportunities for our students through their support and funding. The staff are a motivated and cohesive unit dedicated to the welfare and learning of our students.

Through our participation in ‘The Fair Education Program’ with our local small schools network, a strong emphasis on involving our school community in our students education through Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) is underway, with a focus on the recently built orchard and vegetable garden complex.

Quaama’s student welfare approach is based on, ‘The Fish Philosophy’:

Choose your attitude, Be there, Make their day and Work made fun gets done
