ABOUT BARWON HEATH LIBRARY

The Barwon Health Library opened its doors at the redesigned St Mary’s building in March 2016, providing a contemporary health library for Barwon Health clinicians and other staff, as well as a focal point for developing regional and consumer health information services. It is a critical component of bringing to life Barwon Health’s strategic goals of partnering with and empowering consumers, improving health literacy within our community, and encouraging the professional development and research skills of early-career staff. Along with the Library, the new space colocates research offices to enable cooperative and integrated research and library services, a board room, a doctors’ lounge, a conference/exhibition/reception space, meeting/tutorial rooms, and informal study facilities.
