Veritas Education are on the lookout for talented drama graduates who are looking to make a difference within the field of education. We would love to speak to anyone that wants to bring their creativity and passion to a new environment. Could you be the right person to support and encourage children within local secondary schools?

We are currently hiring for Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants across London. We have both short- and long-term roles available, depending on what you are looking for. Our long-term roles are until the end of the academic year with the view to go on to a permanent placement in September

Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field
  • Interest in working with children (specifically with SEN)
  • Experience working with secondary school children (age 11-16) in some capacity
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Either have or be willing to get an enhanced DBS on the update service, plus provide two references

    • Responsibilities:

    Exact responsibilities will depend on role but may include:

  • Working with children aged 11-16 operating classes in various subjects.
  • Helping children with special educational needs
  • Engaging with students for 4-5 periods
  • Treating children with respect and kindness
