Early Careers Teacher

Location: LS27, Morley

Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Careers Teacher (ECT) ready to embark on an exciting career in primary education? A welcoming primary school in the LS27 area is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their dynamic teaching team.

The role will allow you to work across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and deliver lessons to cover teacher PPA time. You will also need to plan and deliver interventions to small groups, as well as providing general classroom support.

The role will commence immediately and will be on a supply basis until the July.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to support the development of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practices.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Establish effective communication with parents and guardians to promote a collaborative approach to education.
  • Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or pending completion as an NQT.
  • Passion for primary education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
