About Us:

Workforce Resourcing deliver school-based staffing allocations across four models (Primary-Secondary, Schools of Distance Education, Students with disability - Reasonable adjustments resourcing and Whole School Support - Student Learning Resources) as well as manage the annual Day 8 enrolment collection process.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Process inputs from various sources into existing staffing allocation models.
  • Prepare data for grants and appropriations funding, scenario modelling, variance analysis and other adhoc requests.
  • Undertake peer review of model calculations and outputs as well as identify potential enhancements to existing tools and templates, including the conversion of Excel tools into SQL Server and Power BI.
  • Respond to queries from central office and school-based stakeholders.
  • Contribute to briefing notes, submissions and reports as required.
  • Assist with the annual Day 8 process and other adhoc projects, and provide backfill support to the Principal Information Analyst and Senior Information Analyst.

Highly desirable skills and experience;

  • Proficiency in Excel (particularly using spreadsheets with large data tables and complex formulae) and SQL Server (running code as a minimum; writing code highly preferred)
  • Demonstrated information management and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive team spirit and able to competently multi-task amid competing priorities
