Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 3 - $32.21 per hour (School Salary Scale)/(Services Salary Scale)

Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement

About the Role - We are seeking a School Officer to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students, under the direction of the teacher, in a range of classrooms across the school.

Key Duties:
  • General classroom support
  • Preparation of resources and cleaning learning materials
  • Using technology to support learning activities and administration duties such as photocopying and filing

Key Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a School Officer/Teaching Aide and/or hold a minimum Cert 3 in Educational Support
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of the work of a primary school classroom and a willingness to work as part of a team
  • Demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes
