About the Role:

As the Senior Project Coordinator, you will work towards:

  • Supporting the management and coordination of all aspects of project and program delivery including financial and human resources, initial planning, construction and commissioning of multiple complex projects within a legislative and contractual framework.
  • Managing critical project information such as milestones and expenditure to ensure project data is up to date at all times within departmental systems - including SAP.
  • Managing and reporting against key sub programs and significant projects within the department's investment program.
  • Developing, maintaining and monitoring critical relationships with clients, stakeholders and service providers for the purpose of achieving and sustaining a high level of client satisfaction.
  • The Senior Project Coordinator, Priority Programs reports to the Infrastructure Manager. Travel, including overnight travel, will be required from time to time.

To be successful in the role you will have the following qualities:

  • Critical thinker who makes considered decisions and engages collaboratively, professionally with stakeholders that have led to positive project delivery outcomes
  • Demonstrates a high standard of practice through governance and risk management.
  • Experience in the infrastructure industry is desirable.
  • Travel is a requirement of this role, our ideal candidate will hold and open licence.
