Ascham girls' lessons in global citizenship
On the International Day of the Girl Child, around 1000 Ascham students took to the streets of Sydney to draw attention to the education of girls across the world, and particularly the 66 million girls who are currently denied an education because of poverty or conflict, or as a result of cultural expectations which undervalue their education.
