White Cliffs Public School is a small school located in the beautiful opal mining town of White Cliffs in Far Western NSW. The community is surrounded by sheep, goat and cattle grazing properties. The school has an enrolment of 13 students. The school provides a stimulating, relevant and effective learning environment that caters for the individual needs of all students with a strong focus on reading and numeracy. The students bring a positive focus to their learning. The school works closely with Tibooburra Outback Public School and School of the Air. Students and staff have access to a range of technologies that support an individualised approach to teaching and learning. The teaching Principal is supported by experienced teaching and support staff. The P&C is very active and fundraises to subsidise the cost of excursions which provide students with a variety of new learning experiences. Parents have high expectations for their children and are actively involved in the school. The school is a hub in the local community.
