About the Role

The successful applicant will require a thorough understanding of the Australian Curriculum and the effective use of data to inform teaching and learning.  

As the Head of Department - Curriculum, you will have responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Lead the whole of school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educations vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Lead the effective and consistent implementation of high-yield reading pedagogies across the school, inclusive of, but not limited to, coaching, modelling, co-teaching, observing practice and providing feedback and support.
Build the capacity of all educators in the effective, inclusive and robust delivery of the Australian Curriculum to improve learning outcomes for all students.
Engage staff in intentional collaboration around the rigorous delivery and implementation of the Australian Curriculum V9.

    1. Embedding high impact teaching strategies and research based pedagogical practices.
    2. Building teachers understanding of curriculum and aligning this to student need based off data trends.
