About the School

Nirimba State Primary school is a 1-to-1 iPad school for Years 1 - 6 and we are proud to be a STEAM school using age-appropriate pedagogies. Nirimba State Primary School is located in the suburb of Nirimba and is part of the Caloundra electorate of the Sunshine Coast and provides a high-quality educational service to students and families of Nirimba and surrounding suburbs.  

About the Role

The Head of Department - Curriculum must be highly proficient in the use of technology and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge, and practical use, of digital pedagogies. Our school is currently implementing version 9 Mathematics and Japanese of the Australian Curriculum and preparing for version 9 English implementation in 2025.  The Head of Department (Curriculum) is a member of the management team and is supported by the Principal, Deputy Principal, Guidance Officer, Head of Student Services and Head of Inclusion.
